JOIN, or DIE.
I have reused Benjamin Franklin’s idea, which he published in the Pennsylvania Gazette, 9 May 1754. The famous original is believed to be the earliest American political cartoon. It was just as true in the American colonies as it is today, for Europe. If you are one of those who likes the idea of the European Union, it is a call to action. If you are not, it is just a simple prediction… like the Sun will rise tomorrow… and you can relax.

The amazing coincidence is that the date of publication (May 9) is the same of the Schuman Declaration (in 1950), and now the Europe Day, the symbol of a “ever closer Union”. Let us pray!
